Yeah -- father's day is even harder when you don't have a father or when he passed on. Father's day can be sweet, bittersweet, or just bitter transforming it from a funhouse to a place with evil clowns.

We never know what a good dad has done for us until we are old enough to appreciate it or he has passed on (if we were lucky enough to have had and have gotten to know a good father.)
