I have a little story for you totally unrelated to this post...

Last weekend my husband and I drove to Alabama, from Florida, with my sister, who is 16, and my, six year old, son Ryan. I rescheduled my follow-up appointment with my neurosurgeon for the morning of the 28th, so that we could take the kids to the FOB / Blink show. My son and sister are Big fans of you, (your dogs,your wife,your son, your band and Clan). We literally had $150 in the bank and were seven hours from home just so the kids could see you, they think that much of you. We got there early, we were probably in the first twenty cars there, knowing that you usually come out and meet kids before the show. The kids waited and waited at the side gate for you. They saw you under a white tent taking pics with kids. My son had a fit because he was so excited to see you, yet he couldn't get to you. They thought you'd walk over. Then you guys disappeared. We waited for quite a while longer before they let us in the gates. They were still hopeful with thier magazines and cd liners in hand ... thinking he'll come out any minute .. he always does. The show starts and my son is like "where's Peter? I want to see him!". He asked the security guards and the cops to take him to you. No one would, or could help. The show went on and was over. We waited and waited for you, thinking maybe you would come out after. It was probably 11:30 and he was crying his eyes out. No sign of Peter. He had been there waiting to see you for over seven hours and was at his breaking point. We thought you'd get a kick out of meeting him too. He's really smart and loves music, more like a teenager than a little kid. He was dressed the part in a skeleton tee, studded belt with his little black converse and his gray and black plaid hoodie. So cute. He was waiting to tell you about how he named his guinea pigs after you .. well not exactly you, their names are Hemingway, Rigby and Sugar. Wonder how he come up with those? Just wanted to let you know that you missed getting to meet a really great little kid and he missed getting to meet you. A little boy who cried himself to sleep on the way home after the show because he was so disappointed.

I know you won't reply to this and you probably don't even care, but I had to say it and well.. there it is.

If your only reason to go to a Fall Out Boy show is to meet Peter Wentz then I'm pretty sure he'll agree you shouldn't be going to the show. If I were a band like Fall Out Boy, I would want people to attend for the band. Whatever.

Dudes as I have said before I was only trying to tell Pete what happened. Ryan was upset and I don't think I'm out of line to say that. He does like the music he is a very smart little boy, gifted in fact. He just wanted to meet a guy in a band that he admires. You can't blame him for being disappointed. As his mother I feel like I failed and let him down. Unless you have a child you don't know how bad that feels. I wasn't attacking Pete. I was only saying that they both missed out getting to meet one another. I think Pete would have got a kick out of him. I know he has to miss his own son being on the road so much. I thought it would make him smile. That's all.

Ryan is a little music buff, it's something he's really into believe it or not. Have you seen the video on youtube, (Ryan meets his crush crush crush), where the little boy meets Paramore and interviews Hayley and asks her out? If you have that's Ryan and you can see there that even at four he loved music, loved bands and was able to read questions to interview the band with. I'm not bragging, I'm only trying to show that in many ways he isn't your average kid and I'm only trying tomake him happy. As his mom it's my job.

Don't get so upset and defensive about something that really had nothing to do with any of you guys.

Why is everyone getting their feathers ruffled? Her son got upset and she said something about it. Pete isn't god,so don't kiss his feet thinking he's so grateful (yes, thats how u spell it) his "adoring fan" are so wonderful for protecting him. he doesn't need it. he's 30. Voo, my heart goes out to your little boy. He deserves the world. I don't think Ryan missed out on a lot, but pete sure as hell did. i waited outside for 5 hours for the band and they never came out, doesn't mean they arent dedicated, they love their fans! i mean, how many bands do the flyaway like fob?

So what if he's six? when the hell does age come into play when it involves passion. he sounds like he appreciates music for what it is, unlike a lot of people who will buy a song because their favorite band made it. ps I've never been able to afford them so I'm not saying us should, idk, I'm usually in the extremely far back nosebleed section, but I try not to get my hopes up of meeting him either.

Pay the fee & join Overcast Kids the FOB fan club. I won backstage tickets from my local radio station in May to attend a concert in Toronto and got to see their sound check, got to do a meet & greet the following week in Cleveland because they didn't have time to meet us in Toronto, AND through the Overcast Kids won a meet & greet at Darien Lake! Yes folks, that's 3 backstage opportunities, 2 which were meet and greets with photos and autographs! They DO love their fans, I'm sure they'd love to meet your son and there IS a way to do it!

Anyway~ Killer show last Saturday (West Palm Beach). (Random as hell and has nothing to do with what is at hand, though I will ask you a question soon) I was very surprised and impressed. The Tampa reported probably had something against you guys. Sort of like how I did when i first walked into the concert. I wasnt really excited to see you guys...
I loved you guys. Until Infinity on High and then your other album which I honestly dont know the name of. Explaining why and such would take way to long and you probably dont want to hear it. NEGATIVE PART OVER.
POSITIVE PART STARTING.
I loved the show. You guys were great and showed everything I use to love about you guys. I cant express the joy I felt that night watching you guys. Saturday actually means a lot to me (Same goes for I slept with Someone from Fall Out Boy and All I got was this song written about me) and when you finished the show with it a teared up a bit. I never thought I would ever see you guys play that live. Because of this whole popularity business. And the fact that you had 3 albums after that song you could have picked from.

AND. AND! Holy Shit. Dont Stop Believing. okay, Thats our senior's theme song this year. AND Its (basically) the Glee theme song. That was fucking great. Nothing makes me love a concert more than TOTAL crowd participation (in that manner. Im not making any sense).

Long story short, I was very surprised, impressed, over-joyed, brought to tears, made-to-scream and in love with the show and you guys. It was great.

ANYWAY, onto my question.
It said I had to put down 2 addresses. I only have one. It didnt except just the one so I just copied it twice. Is that ok?

From what I can decipher I think this all has something to do with that Greatest Hits album to be released in Nov. I think FOB knows that it makes no sense because, if we're already fans, we have those songs. This whole thing may be for us, the fans, maybe to give us the two new songs that are supposed to be featured on the new album, but Big Business Music Corp. wants to squeeze every last dime from us and Pete is trying to give us a way around that--as difficult as that is. From the "Magician" blog I can tell that Pete may be trying to give us a message about how muddled the music industry is...but that's just my opinion. idk...

oh, and random "fact", abracadabra alakazam loosely translates to "i will create as i speak, flawless"

Alright Mr. Pete "gonna fuck with your mind" Wentz. I'm game for whatever this is, but at least tell us if the website about "it's everything worth dying for" has anything to do with it. It can be like a game of hot and cold. You post a blog/twitter whether we're getting warmer or getting colder.

im pretty sure pete is just having us look at a bunch of music to spread his love and passion. this whole thing is a trail of viral marketing. making us go insane looking for a answer that is right in front of us. "Life is a song. Love is the music." in other words by taking us to all the places he does, he is sharing his passion, and our common passions. If i click everywhere, he is simply sending me to places in a hope that I will find something in which I may stumble upon and fall in love with. whether it be a piece of art, or a new band. IDK just guessing. I'm gonna keep looking for something else anyway, but i think that's the real message. We all win by finding things we would have never come across with out Pete's help. But who really knows. Only Pete so I guess we'll wait and see.

dude, to the lady whose son already got to interview and meet hayley, i am going to say this in a very nice way. get over it. Pete is a grown man, so I won't defend him, but can be sure, flying across country on a daily basis, late night shows, and 1,000s of meet and greats it is hard to notice a single face.

and i agree with the person who said your son may not even understand the song. he is the epitome of what America's Suitehearts is about, he is a and you are making him a pawn of media hype and hollywood.

i have never met anyone famous, nor even got a head nod, and i am not upset. i had a chance to see FOB on BND and was in the pit, i was 2 feet from the band and that was awesome. Yeah, it would have been great to meet the dudes, but be real, meeting someone that high profile is a rare chance, and your son already has one.

it isn't worth breaking the bank to try and meet a celeb, its insane.

Joe said they were secretly recording stuff in a tweet a few weeks ago and now it says "dont click this. it will only make things worse for some of us and better for the rest."..

"Some of us" is FOB since they will make a new album which is more work on top of the huge tour they were just on and the one before that.. they must be exhausted.

"The Rest of us" is the fans, since a new album would be GREAT!

FOB is either going to start recording a new album or go on tour again. I doubt they would do another tour since they've done 2 in a row now so my guess is the abracadabra thing will let us know they are going to hit the studio.

Great news if Im right... which I am :)

RedHerring is a website and they have an article on a J. (John) Malone who is the Chairman of Liberty Media and apparently he has connections to Ticketmaster.

FOB has a song called "Sending Postcards From a Plane Crash" from the take this to your grave album.. they just went on tour with Blink which we all know (Travis) got in to a plane crash.
The postcard also seems to be FROM Joe and for PATRICK. Patrick is in Chicago according to the postcard and joe mentions liking something LOUD.

IDK what all this means but it may help someone else, IDK...

i don't think their recording a new album...
i think they need a huge break, and ever since Folie has come out, I've had the feeling that the album was a sort of swan song... saying good bye to the new and welcoming all the new stuff.
But their bringing out a greatest hits, further adding to my suspicions.
Oh well, I'm sorry Pete that I made it worse for you guys. I've never participated in any of your cryptic things till now, and I was hell curious...
