Pete, So I had the incredible joy of seeing Panic on their tour of Australia (Brisbane show) the other week. Now while Panic at the Disco and The Academy Is...are super cool can I just say that Cobra Starship are beyond amazing! My best friend and I basically went along to just see them and I don't think we were alone. There were a lot of mad Cobra fans in that mosh and they were not afraid to show it. Gabe didn't even need to teach us Fangs Up. So, I think you better send Cobra Starship back here super quick cause they have a pretty mad fan base growing. So Thanks for sending your mini Decaydance fest our way. We're waiting on the second round. Australia might be small in population and stuck an annoying long-haul flight away but we love our music and it's always nice when music sends us a little love back.

First of all, I posted a comment here because I forgot my login details in FOBR and for some strange reason, I haven't been able to receive the email that's supposed to have my new login details. Second, I felt like I really needed to tell you this that's why I decided to post this here in the hope that I get to reach you. I do hope you read this.
It makes me sad to see that some of your fans become bitter or cold just because you have deviated from your old style. I don't get it. Why do people get so annoyed whenever people change? I mean, I would have understood if it was because you've turned into something so unacceptable to mankind. But if it's only because you've changed into something some people never expected of you, that is what's been bothering me.
I admit that I also miss your old style and the rage and sarcasm reflected in the lyrics that you write. I miss them because whenever I listen to them, I am able to release the tensions going on in my mind whenever I feel so helpless. It has become a refuge. A therapy of sorts.
Listening to Take This to Your Grave is very much different from listening to From Under the Cork Tree and so is listening to Infinity on High. But you know what I like most about your songs? It's the fact that though it isn't always something that people would expect to hear from you, listening to your songs just brings me to another place many people who know me could not probably fathom or understand. It's because that though all your albums have variations in style, they still have that essence that becomes an escape from everything that happens around me, and it's also in your songs do I get some other fresh ideas.
I don't think deviating from the old style that people got used to is selling out. I do understand the feeling of missing the "old Fall Out Boy" who wrote the words, "I wish that I was as invisible as you make me feel", or the line, "We're the kids who feel like dead ends," because there used to be a time when I felt like I was not alone in how I feel and that somewhere around this world someone knows the feeling of being forgotten or the feeling of pain whenever we feel like we've been cheated by our own fate. But then seeing the "new Fall Out Boy", or seeing the "new Pete" who seems to be quite happy as I've ever seen him, it makes me happy. In fact it gives me the hope that I, too, can be happy one day. And about the sound of the songs in the mixed tape? Yeah, it's nothing like I expected them to be doing, but hearing something new and alive made it all feel refreshing and it makes me want to say that I could not wait for the release of Folie a Deux.
And Andy, Joe, and Patrick, if you get to read this, I've never been more happy to be a fan of this band. I wish all of you guys the best.

I’ve never seen that movie, heard about it, but never seen it. Though after seeing the trailer, I’m thinking on reconsidering. And in “Things People Say You Will Laugh About Later Even Though You’re Not Laughing Now,” I’ve got the story for the ages.
It was all planned that Friday August 29th that my parents and I were going to Daytona Beach (to stay Friday, Saturday and come back on Sunday). I was going to be picked up at school and we were going to leave from there seeing as how there is a four to five hour travel time. Friday morning I’m getting ready for school and my mother comes in and says that my cousins and my aunt was coming over from Tampa on Sunday to visit us. I was like “Well, what the hey, why wasn’t I told this before?” Apparently she just found out last night. Now I had to stay home from school to get the house clean (because I’m going to be honest, it wasn’t ready to see visitors) while my mom went to work.
Fast-forward to around 5 pm. We’re getting ready to leave. About three minutes after we left the house, my dad realized he doesn’t have the reservation for the hotel. We turn around. Now he has to go find it. We wait in the car. 15 minutes later he comes back and asks “Do you want the good news or the bad news?” We say good news. His reply: “Well, the good news is I found the paper. The bad news is it’s the 30th and not the 29th.” Cue awkward silence and abnormally loud crickets. So we left Saturday morning, came back Sunday afternoon, entertained the family the rest of Sunday and Monday, they left Monday afternoon and now Tuesday never look so good. Good times. No, seriously. Now I just have the need to sleep for a week.
Thanks to my pretty new phone, which I am now writing this from (take that PSP), I have pictures.

He is so well educated on the world aroud us and is not afraid to speak his mind. I agreed with so many things he said. I love the fact that you and all the bands you sign are not just about getting famous but you truly love the music and have a message to spread...no matter what. Keep it up Pete. I got a chance to listen to "I Don't Care" today thanks to a couple of friends who were amazing enough to get a copy of it to me. I kinda miss the internet alot, I haven't been able to keep up with anything that's been going on. But I seriously had to take a minute and shang-hai a computer at the college library to get over here and tell you:

I've got plans to be at the Cobra show in Phoenix that day but seriously, I can't wait for this album to drop. I'm not even kidding, I'm just so excited about this. Anyways. It's kinda funny that you've got Don't Tell Mom up on your entry--I caught the tail end of it as I was walking in to the plasma center today, and then they put The Goonies on when it was over. Makes me want to go home and veg out on all sorts of other movies like these. I probably will.
As for The New Administration? Yes, we can. (I almost drove up to Denver but my work schedule prevented me completely from doing so.) Or alternatively, damn, my ears are going to be so spoiled this fall.

So... that movie reminds me of this stupid movie I watched in French once, but I have no idea if it's the same movie, because you know... it was in French, and this was like 5 years ago, and I read a book instead of watching it because it was so boring.
So I've been listening to "I Don't Care" a lot because quite frankly, I lurve it. Except for one teensy little thing. "I'm a heat wave in your pants." I've added it to my list of "ridiculous song lyrics in otherwise awesome songs." Which admittedly, only has two items on it at the moment. But yours isn't #1 if that makes you feel any better :P

So I had the incredible joy of seeing Panic on their tour of Australia (Brisbane show) the other week. Now while Panic at the Disco and The Academy Is...are super cool can I just say that Cobra Starship are beyond amazing!
My best friend and I basically went along to just see them and I don't think we were alone. There were a lot of mad Cobra fans in that mosh and they were not afraid to show it. Gabe didn't even need to teach us Fangs Up.
So, I think you better send Cobra Starship back here super quick cause they have a pretty mad fan base growing.
So Thanks for sending your mini Decaydance fest our way. We're waiting on the second round. Australia might be small in population and stuck an annoying long-haul flight away but we love our music and it's always nice when music sends us a little love back.

First of all, I posted a comment here because I forgot my login details in FOBR and for some strange reason, I haven't been able to receive the email that's supposed to have my new login details. Second, I felt like I really needed to tell you this that's why I decided to post this here in the hope that I get to reach you. I do hope you read this.
It makes me sad to see that some of your fans become bitter or cold just because you have deviated from your old style. I don't get it. Why do people get so annoyed whenever people change? I mean, I would have understood if it was because you've turned into something so unacceptable to mankind. But if it's only because you've changed into something some people never expected of you, that is what's been bothering me.
I admit that I also miss your old style and the rage and sarcasm reflected in the lyrics that you write. I miss them because whenever I listen to them, I am able to release the tensions going on in my mind whenever I feel so helpless. It has become a refuge. A therapy of sorts.
Listening to Take This to Your Grave is very much different from listening to From Under the Cork Tree and so is listening to Infinity on High. But you know what I like most about your songs? It's the fact that though it isn't always something that people would expect to hear from you, listening to your songs just brings me to another place many people who know me could not probably fathom or understand. It's because that though all your albums have variations in style, they still have that essence that becomes an escape from everything that happens around me, and it's also in your songs do I get some other fresh ideas.
I don't think deviating from the old style that people got used to is selling out. I do understand the feeling of missing the "old Fall Out Boy" who wrote the words, "I wish that I was as invisible as you make me feel", or the line, "We're the kids who feel like dead ends," because there used to be a time when I felt like I was not alone in how I feel and that somewhere around this world someone knows the feeling of being forgotten or the feeling of pain whenever we feel like we've been cheated by our own fate. But then seeing the "new Fall Out Boy", or seeing the "new Pete" who seems to be quite happy as I've ever seen him, it makes me happy. In fact it gives me the hope that I, too, can be happy one day. And about the sound of the songs in the mixed tape? Yeah, it's nothing like I expected them to be doing, but hearing something new and alive made it all feel refreshing and it makes me want to say that I could not wait for the release of Folie a Deux.
And Andy, Joe, and Patrick, if you get to read this, I've never been more happy to be a fan of this band. I wish all of you guys the best.

It was all planned that Friday August 29th that my parents and I were going to Daytona Beach (to stay Friday, Saturday and come back on Sunday). I was going to be picked up at school and we were going to leave from there seeing as how there is a four to five hour travel time. Friday morning I’m getting ready for school and my mother comes in and says that my cousins and my aunt was coming over from Tampa on Sunday to visit us. I was like “Well, what the hey, why wasn’t I told this before?” Apparently she just found out last night. Now I had to stay home from school to get the house clean (because I’m going to be honest, it wasn’t ready to see visitors) while my mom went to work.
Fast-forward to around 5 pm. We’re getting ready to leave. About three minutes after we left the house, my dad realized he doesn’t have the reservation for the hotel. We turn around. Now he has to go find it. We wait in the car. 15 minutes later he comes back and asks “Do you want the good news or the bad news?” We say good news. His reply: “Well, the good news is I found the paper. The bad news is it’s the 30th and not the 29th.” Cue awkward silence and abnormally loud crickets. So we left Saturday morning, came back Sunday afternoon, entertained the family the rest of Sunday and Monday, they left Monday afternoon and now Tuesday never look so good. Good times. No, seriously. Now I just have the need to sleep for a week.

I got a chance to listen to "I Don't Care" today thanks to a couple of friends who were amazing enough to get a copy of it to me. I kinda miss the internet alot, I haven't been able to keep up with anything that's been going on. But I seriously had to take a minute and shang-hai a computer at the college library to get over here and tell you:

I've got plans to be at the Cobra show in Phoenix that day but seriously, I can't wait for this album to drop. I'm not even kidding, I'm just so excited about this.
